在光度分析法中,生成的产物和一种或几种反应物两者有时会在同一波长时吸收光。山于反应物的消耗,反应终止时,标本(?)“空白”、吸光率可能比反应起始时测得的吸光率低,为了校正用一种光吸收试剂测得的结果,空白校正因数是EP/(EP-ER),其中ER 和EP 代表相应的试剂和产物的摩尔吸光率。在测定产物时,当有多种试剂在同一波长下吸收光时,也可推导出一种因数。这种因数与试剂的浓度无关,并可以校正在反应中由于光吸收试剂的消耗所测得的吸光率。许多反应都可用下式表示
