目前,国际上多采用谷粒蘑菇菌种,这种制种方法在国内虽已试用,但由于多数蘑菇产区因栽培设施简陋,杂菌污染严重,成品率低,且易受鼠害,因此未能普遍推广。近年来,我国利用棉子壳发酵料制蘑菇菌种,菌种质量虽提高了,而且勾瓶、播种也方便,但制种工序仍较繁琐,并易受自然条件影响,菌种质量不稳定。为此,笔者自1990年2月开始,采用棉子壳免堆制发酵制蘑菇菌种,试图通过培养基配方的改良和生产工艺的改革,以达到简化蘑菇菌种的制作工序,提高蘑菇菌种的质量。
