盲文汉字是专门为视觉障碍人士和正常视力的人设计的一款通用字体,它的出现源于对盲文和汉字两大体系各自独立的探索与思考.盲文汉字试图把我国的汉字和盲文结合起来,其设计理念是解决现行汉语盲文同音异形字的认读缺陷和盲文与普通汉字语言不通的问题,使盲文汉字真正成为一款盲人与明眼人可以通用的字体.
