目的探讨血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)的表达和微血管密度(MVD)与黏液表皮样癌(MEC)临床病理类型的关系。方法选取2000年6月至2010年8月中山大学附属第二医院和中山大学附属第五医院口腔科手术切除、病理科保存的涎腺肿瘤石蜡包埋组织标本,包括正常涎腺组织40例、MEC68例(40例高分化、28例中低分化),应用免疫组化SP法检测其中VEGF的表达和MVD。结果 VEGF的阳性表达率和MVD计数在正常唾液腺组织、高分化MEC、低分化MEC中依次增加,组间差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05);MEC中MVD计数随着VEGF表达的增强而升高(P<0.05);发生淋巴结转移组的MEC中VEGF的阳性表达率和MVD计数均高于非转移组(P<0.05)。结论 VEGF的表达和MVD与MEC的临床病理类型密切相关。
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and the microvessel density (MVD) and the clinicopathological types of mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC). Methods From June 2000 to August 2010, Affiliated Second Hospital of Sun Yat-sen and Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University Department of Stomatology, salivary gland tumor paraffin-embedded tissue specimens, including 40 cases of normal salivary gland tissue, MEC68 cases (40 cases of well-differentiated, poorly differentiated in 28 cases), immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of VEGF and MVD. Results The positive expression rates of VEGF and MVD in normal salivary gland tissues, well differentiated MECs and poorly differentiated MECs were significantly higher than those in normal salivary glands (P <0.05). The MVD in MECs increased with the increase of VEGF expression (P <0.05). The positive expression rate of VEGF and MVD in MEC of lymph node metastasis group were higher than that of non-metastasis group (P <0.05). Conclusion The expression of VEGF and MVD are closely related to the clinicopathological types of MEC.
