刘佳院长出生于艺术之家,年轻时为追求艺术理想多方请益,中国美术学院、南京师范大学等多位名师大家,都曾是他的授业恩师。在院校教书育人时期,常常与学生外出写生,与同道积极研讨。艺术氛围的熏陶与自身的刻苦努力,让他在中国画特别是人物画领域取得了不俗的成就。进入苏州国画院并主持工作后,积极探讨实践“新吴门画派”在当代社会的转型,赋予“当下”的内涵。几年来持续邀请全国著名艺术家到苏州写生与创作,为苏州艺术家提供交流互动的机会,为地方艺术的发展树立了一面旗帜和发展的模式。本刊因此专门采访了刘佳院长,也感谢刘佳院长在百忙之中接受本刊专访。 Dean Liu Jia was born in an art house. When he was a young man, he pursued various artistic interests. Many famous masters, such as the China Academy of Art and Nanjing Normal University, were former teachers. During the period of teaching and educating people in colleges and universities, they often went out to sketch with students and actively discussed with peers. Influenced by the artistic atmosphere and his own hard work, he has made remarkable achievements in the field of Chinese painting, especially the portrait painting. After entering Suzhou Traditional Chinese Painting Institute and taking the lead in his work, he actively explored the transformation of “New Wumen Painting School” in contemporary society and conferred the connotation of “present ”.
