塑造城市形象,关键在于根据城市的客观条件发挥城市优势,同时完善城市市民及城市外部的社会公众对城市的认识,文章以来州市为例,从城市形象设计、城市自然环境优势、城市文化内涵、城市协调美观、政府执政行为、市民素质、城市形象传播等八个方面论述了塑造城市形象的关键,从而塑造具有中华传统文明和现代文明魅力的历史文化名城。
