前脑基底-大细胞基底核-新皮层是胆碱类物质作用的中枢。乙酰胆碱在此区域接受刺激并提供信息到大脑皮层和杏仁核,介导认知过程的产生。采用基因转移技术将果蝇胆碱乙酰基转移酶基因植入基因工程细胞载体──纤维母细胞,后者经脑内移植作用于大细胞基底核神经元,释放乙酰胆碱或胆碱。从动物行为能力,组织化学诸方面研究表明:胆碱类物质与胆碱能系统共同参与认知过程中的注意力、学习和记忆行为。
Forebrain basal - large basal cell nucleus - neocortex is the central role of choline substances. Acetylcholine is stimulated in this area and provides information to the cerebral cortex and amygdala, mediating the production of cognitive processes. Drosophila choline acetyltransferase gene was implanted into genetically engineered cell carrier - fibroblasts by gene transfer technique. The latter was transplanted into the nucleus basalis nucleus neurons and released acetylcholine or choline. Studies on animal behavior and histochemistry have shown that choline and cholinergic systems are involved in attention, learning and memory during cognition.
