两年前,一个信息令我惊讶。说有一外国小说共20卷、超千万字,构思、创作了70年,是有史以来篇幅最长的文学巨著,即将由江苏文艺出版社付梓。去冬今夏,我有幸读到它的第一、二卷,6部,两百万字。这是我国目前仅见的中译本。读过之后,我不仅为它的宏伟规模而赞叹,更被其内在精神和艺术的奇妙建构所震撼。这就是世界级文学大师索尔仁尼琴的历史小说《红轮——往日叙事》。
Two years ago, a message surprised me. It is said that there are a total of 20 volumes of foreign fiction, over 10 million words, conceived and created for 70 years. It is the longest literary masterpiece in history and will soon be handed over by Jiangsu Literature and Art Publishing House. To winter this summer, I was fortunate enough to read its first and second volumes, six, two million words. This is the only Chinese translation I have ever seen in our country. After reading it, I not only admired it for its grandeur, but also was shocked by the wonderful construction of its inner spirit and art. This is the historical novel “Red Wheel - Past Narration” of Solzhenitsyn, world-class master of literature.
