I noted the pronoun ’she’ instead of theusual ’it’ for dolls but little did I realise thenthat Barbie would soon be a part of myeducation in Canada. That was the time whenBarbie dolls were not readily available in India.I was surprised to experience Barbie’s power asan icon.
