In 1974, UNESCO adopted the “Proposal on the Status of Scientists,” which is recognized as one of the most international and authoritative documents in the world today. Many countries and organizations around the world consider this proposal when they consider the Science Basic Law As an important reference. The proposal contains a set of ethical codes of scientists - “the mission and moral responsibility of scientists.” Its main contents are as follows: First, we must develop the scientific truth in the spirit of intellectual freedom and follow it to pursue, explain and defend it.
