人类生命早期暴露组(HELIX):项目理念与设计(待续)

Human studies on this topic have generally focused on the relationship between single exposure and health effects. The concept of “exposure group ” covers the entire exposure from the beginning of conception and improves the genome. [Purpose] The HELIX project is a new collaborative research project to introduce new exposure assessment and biomarker analysis methods to describe exposure to multiple environmental factors early in life and to link these with biomarkers Group learning and child health outcomes associated, thus characterizing “early life group ”. This article describes the overall design of the project. [Method] HELIX will use the existing 6 birth cohort studies in Europe to estimate a series of chemical and physical exposures to prenatal and postpartum exposures. A total of 32,000 models of exposure to mothers and children in the entire cohort were established and biomarkers were measured in a sub-cohort of 1,200 mothers and children. Nested resampling-based studies (n = 150) will collect biomarker change data, use smartphones to assess mobility and physical activity, and monitor individual exposures. Using omics techniques to determine the molecular characteristics associated with exposure (metabolome, proteome, transcriptome, and epigenome). For multiple exposures, statistical methods were used to estimate exposure-effect relationships in fetal and child growth, obesity, neurodevelopment, and respiratory outcomes. The project will also conduct a health effects assessment test to assess the risks and benefits of the combined exposure. [Conclusion] HELIX is one of the first attempts to describe the association between early exposure to life in European populations and its association with histological markers and child health. As a validation of the concept of exposure biology, this project has taken an important first step towards exposing life processes.
