According to the latest statistics released by the State Economic and Trade Commission over the 60 key large-scale retail enterprises across the country, total retail sales amounted to 1.434 billion yuan during the 11th holiday period, an increase of 17% over the same period of last year. Sales of commercial retail enterprises in Beijing increased by 20% over the same period of last year; sales of 190 commercial enterprises in Shanghai increased by 15.2%; that of 30 key large-scale commercial enterprises in Tianjin increased by 22%; sales of 10 large and medium-sized commercial Enterprise sales increased year on year
