By the end of January, primary and secondary school students across the country will usher in their long-awaited winter vacation. Although schools will repeatedly emphasize the importance of personal safety for students on the eve of holidays, experts believe that parents should take more responsibility for education in holiday safety issues, and at the same time, they should give children opportunities to meet their children’s holiday activities need. At the end of 2014, Shanghai Science Childcare Center and Women’s Federation of Songjiang District released a study on “Family Safety Education Survey for Children 0-12”: In the area of child safety, the three major issues that parents are most concerned about are traffic safety (75.3% ), Food safety (70.6%) and abduction (loss) (31.1%). Although parents are generally concerned about the safety of children, there are still many problems in their practice, such as ignorance of knowledge, incomprehension of explanations and skills anxiety.
