日本轮胎工业的发展水平仅次于美国而居资本主义世界的第二位。当70年代末、80年代初期,主要资本主义国家的轮胎生产缩减时,日本仍巩固了自己轮胎大型生产者的地位。在1977~1982年期间,其汽车轮胎生产的比重在主要资本主义国家中从18%增长到26%(表1)。在70年代,轮胎经营者的积极投资活动,使固定资金有很大更新:轮胎厂的生产能力增长一倍,现行27个生产企业中的11个企业在此时期投产。考虑到专业化的经济优越性,日本主要建设生产某种轮胎,例如载重轮胎、乘用胎、大型轮胎或子午线轮胎的专业化厂。
Japan’s tire industry ranks second only to the United States and ranks second in the capitalist world. When the production of tires in major capitalist countries was reduced in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Japan still consolidated its status as a large tire manufacturer. Between 1977 and 1982, the proportion of its automobile tire production increased from 18% to 26% in the main capitalist countries (Table 1). In the 1970s, the active investment activities of tire operators led to a substantial renewal of fixed capital: the tire plant’s production capacity has doubled, and 11 of the current 27 production companies have started production during this period. Taking into account the specialization of economic superiority, Japan mainly builds and manufactures certain types of tires, such as specialized trucks for truck tires, passenger tires, large-scale tires, or radial tires.
