《新疆维吾尔自治区科学技术协会条例》(以下简称条例)已由自治区八届人大常委会第二十八次会议审议通过,并颁布实施。自治区科学技术协会是自治区科学技术工作者依法成立的自然科学、技术科学类社会团体和各级科协的联合组织。多年来,各级科协及其所属团体坚持党的基本路线坚持科学技术是第一生产力的指导思想,团结和组织各族科技工作者广泛开展国内外学术交流活动;围绕自治区经济建设的重大问题进行科学论证;以农牧民、青少年和领导干部为重点普及科学技术知识,在促进自治区科技进步、经济建设、社会发展和实施科教兴新战略中,发挥着重要作用。
The Regulations of Science and Technology Association of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (hereinafter referred to as Regulations) have been examined and adopted by the 28th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth NPC Standing Committee and promulgated and implemented. The Autonomous Region Science and Technology Association is a joint organization of scientific and technological social organizations and science and technology associations of all levels established by the scientific and technological workers of autonomous regions according to law. Over the years, the CASs and their affiliated organizations have adhered to the party's basic line of adhering to the guiding ideology of science and technology being the primary productive force, uniting and organizing scientific and technological workers of all ethnic groups to conduct extensive academic exchanges both at home and abroad. Focusing on the major issues of economic construction in the autonomous regions, Scientific demonstration should be carried out. The popularization of scientific and technological knowledge focusing on farmers, herdsmen, youth and leading cadres plays an important role in promoting scientific and technological progress, economic construction, social development and implementing the strategy of rejuvenating science and education in the autonomous region.
