在海拔高、日平均气温低、无霜期短的高寒山区,如何发展高效农业一直被农业科技工作者所关注,以往曾有许多人致力于此类地区的农业技术研究,但由于种种原因,收效甚微。本技术研究从1998年开始试验,2000年扩大示范,根据此类地区的生态和生产条件的特点,从种植入手,研究利用地膜覆盖玉米间套作蔬菜的技术,旨在为实现此类地区1a3种3收或4种4收创造条件,为高产高效种植提供科学依据。
