Epidemiological studies have found that wool dust and cereal dust in the air are significantly related to lung inflammation and bronchial epithelial cell injury in workers. In order to further explore this issue, this study uses in vitro cell culture methods to observe the two kinds of dust on lung epithelial cells and alveolar macrophages direct toxicity. Wool dust refers to dust floating in the air collected by a sampler during wool processing. Surface wool dust comes from the surface of the woolen dust that adheres to the walls around the wool processing plant and to the ground.
