测定生长激素是矮小儿童鉴别诊断的重要指标。以往一般依据生理或药理刺激试验后血生长激素(GH)的反应峰值来判断,但此方法并不能完全准确地反映体内GH的自主分泌状况,而且测24小时血中含量不仅非常困难,也不易为患者接受。测定尿生长激素的水平能较真实地反映体内GH的状况,已有报道,尿液中内源性GH的排出量与体内内源性GH的分泌情况相关。为此笔者对正常小儿及身材矮小儿童进行了夜间12小时尿GH测定,初步探讨其临床意义。
