The effect of classroom teaching depends largely on the student’s participation. This requires students to have a sense of participation. It is a trend of modern mathematics teaching to strengthen students’ awareness of participation in classroom teaching and make students truly become masters of classroom teaching. From Skinner’s “Procedural Teaching Method”, Bruner’s “Discovery Method”, and Tao Xingzhi’s “Teaching and Doing Together Principle”, students’ thoughts and consciousness are emphasized. Therefore, from “exam-oriented education” to “quality education,” we should pay attention to cultivating students’ awareness of participation in classroom teaching. Nowadays, junior high school students have a strong psychological dependence and follow the teacher’s inertia.
