硝酸硫胺有与鹽酸硫胺同等的功效,但其水溶液較为稳定,pH值接近中性,对組織刺激較小。这些优点說明硝酸硫胺較鹽酸硫胺更适宜于作注射剂的原料,故美典15版已收载作为法定药物。其分析方法,有熒光光度法及硅鎢酸沉淀法。由于前法需要貴重仪器,而后法为重量法,操作繁冗,耗费时間,各有缺点。非水溶液确定,近年来得到广泛的应用,作者等因此考虑采用非水溶液滴定,或可弥补上述缺点。試驗結果,成績良好,足以代替药典的法定方法,而操作簡單迅速,不需要貴重仪器,确能符合多快好省的要求。
Thiamine nitrate has the same efficacy as thiamine hydrochloride, but its aqueous solution is more stable, with a pH near neutrality and less irritation to the tissue.
