《水浒传》作者施耐庵的籍贯问题,主要有江苏兴化大丰和浙江钱塘(杭州)两个说法。文章从该书的地理观念出发,将“林冲雪夜上梁山”“武松打虎及回清河县”“江州劫法场”这三幕故事中的地理观念与“宋江征方腊”一幕故事中的地理观念进行对比,发现作者施耐庵对北方及杭州以外的地理情况生疏、而对杭州及其周边地理情况熟悉,因而认为《水浒传》的作者施耐庵更可能是钱塘(杭州)人。
