药物是防治疾病的物质基础。但是，如果不合理的使用药物，不但达不到防治疾病的目的，反而会给患者带来危害。对于药物的作用要一分为二的看，药物有其治疗疾病的有利一面，同时也有产生不良反应的有害一面。该文就如何正确掌握药物的作用、用法、适应证，以防止和减少不良反应加以简述。
