2000年,全市各级统计部门要以邓小平理论和党的基本路线为指导,认真贯彻市委七届六次全会和全国统计局长会议精神,进一步开拓进取,求真务实,继续推进统计改革,强化统计基本职能,加强统计基础建设,抓好第五次人口普查,认真做好其他各项工作,为促进国民经济和社会事业发挥积极的作用.
