我们这次来新疆考察硬粒小麦的生产情况,收获很大。这里谈谈国内外硬粒小麦的生产动态、品种改良及新疆发展硬粒小麦的前景。 一、硬粒小麦的特征特性 硬粒小麦是小麦属的一个种。普通小麦为六倍体,具有A、B、D三个染色体组合42个染色体。硬粒小麦则是四倍体,具有A、B二个染色体组合28个染色体。硬粒小麦的显著特点是芒较长(一般都超过穗长甚至达到穗长的2倍,也有少数无芒品种),小穗排列紧密,穗的侧面宽于正面,颖脊与颖尖明显,穗下的茎秆一般为实心,充满着髓质(穗下茎秆实心的程度常是鉴定硬粒小麦典
