日前,国务院印发《关于加强金融消费者权益保护工作的指导意见》(以下简称《意见》),对我国进一步加强金融消费者权益保护、提升金融消费者信心、促进金融市场健康运行、维护国家金融稳定。《意见》明确,金融管理部门要按照职责分工,切实做好各自职责范围内金融消费者权益保护工作;各类金融机构负有保护金融消费者基本权利,依法、合规开展经营活动的义务;金融领域相关社会组织应协助金融消费者依法维权,发挥其在金融消费者权益保护中的重要作用。
Recently, the State Council issued the Guidance Opinion on Strengthening the Protection of Rights and Interests of Financial Consumers (hereinafter referred to as the Opinions), which further strengthened the protection of the rights and interests of financial consumers in our country, enhanced the confidence of financial consumers, promoted the healthy operation of financial markets, and maintained the national financial stable. The “Opinions” made clear that the financial management departments should, in accordance with the division of responsibilities, earnestly carry out the work of protecting the rights and interests of financial consumers in their respective areas of responsibility; all kinds of financial institutions have the obligation to protect the basic rights of financial consumers and conduct business activities in compliance with laws and regulations; Relevant social organizations in the financial field should assist financial consumers to safeguard their rights according to law and give play to their important role in protecting the rights and interests of financial consumers.
