The 2008 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, a major intational multi-sport event, took place in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. It has well shown the Chinese people’s dream and passion about the Games. Hosting an Olympic Games has been a century-old dream for the Chinese nation.
