张栻是南宋著名的理学家、教育家,湖湘学派的奠基人。他是“乾淳之盛”的诸多学者中最早自觉地利用书院研究、传播理学的。其书院教育思想基本上反映了南宋理学教育的学风,但又具有鲜明的特征:重视道德教育,把道德教育提升到宇宙本体论的高度;提出“传道济民”的办学宗旨,彰显了儒家内圣外王的传统价值观;注重践履,具有传统儒学经世务实的品格;兼容博采、不囿一隅,体现出融通百家的优良学风。张栻的教育思想是其独特的以“性”为本体、道器一体的哲学思想在教育层面上的折射和反映。
Zhang Jian is a famous Southern Song physicist, educator, founder of the Hunan school.
