建筑和其它产品有很大的不同。建筑的自然寿命很长,一般都在50年以上,超过100年的情况并不罕见。建筑的建造成本也比一般产品要高得多。建筑的这两种特性使得它从建成时起就对城市的发展和生活在城市的人产生着巨大的影响。
Construction and other products are very different. The natural life of a building is very long, usually over 50 years, and it is not uncommon for more than 100 years. Building construction costs are much higher than the average product. Both of these characteristics of the building make it a huge influence on the development of the city and the people who live in the city from the moment it is built.
