The downhole density viscosity sensor is a device that can measure the density and viscosity of the formation fluid in real time through the cable formation tester. This new method of fluid measurement can be achieved by sampling open-hole wells or downhole fluid analysis at different depths of the formation to characterize the reservoir fluid and then make a fluid profile that is more accurate and more reflective than conventional sampling and analysis methods The physical characteristics of the subsurface fluid and the ability to quantify fluid differences in real time. Five case studies from all over the world show that this method is feasible under a wide range of environmental conditions. Densities and viscosities of reservoir fluids are the primary parameters that reflect formation information and are directly related to the production and economic benefits of the field. Measuring the density and viscosity of real fluids in situ is a huge advance in understanding reservoir properties.
