作为一名大学英语老师,在全民高度关注教育事业发展的大环境背景下,最苦恼的事情就是学生在课堂上沉默。在素质教育与应试教育的博弈中,相信只有让沉默的课堂活跃起来,才能打破课堂沉默的尴尬局面,进而调动学生参与到英语交流活动的实践过程中,强化学生的英语能力。文章从大学英语课堂学生沉默现象的成因出发,并以此为基础,对以打破沉默,活跃课堂为主线的课堂教学模式进行深入分析,并提出相关策略。
As a college English teacher, the most distressing thing in the context of universal concern to the development of education is that students are silent in the classroom. In the gambling of quality education and exam-oriented education, we believe that only by letting silent classrooms active can we break the awkward situation of classroom silence and then mobilize students ’participation in the practice of English communication activities to strengthen students’ English proficiency. Based on the causes of the silence of college English students, the article analyzes the classroom teaching mode of breaking the silence and active classrooms as the basis, and puts forward some strategies.
