I. The Necessity of Changing the Conception of Low-price Competition In recent years, the total value of China’s export trade has been growing rapidly. According to statistics, China’s foreign trade exports topped 100 billion U.S. dollars (121.011 billion U.S. dollars) for the first time in 1994, 2000 and 2003 respectively, 200 billion U.S. dollars (242.9 billion U.S. dollars) and 300 billion U.S. dollars (325.6 billion U.S. dollars). In spite of the continuous optimization of the structure of China’s export products, the share of exports in primary products declines year by year, and the trade in manufactured products continues to grow and expand.
