兰州市静安门12号,是本文作者幼年时的旧居。作者幼年时,她的哥哥、兰州中学学生柴延忠等爱国进步青年曾把她家的果园作为抗日救亡的宣传点,后来又发展成中共地下党的秘密联络点。幼年时的作者曾给哥哥们的许多秘密活动“站岗放哨”,因而知道了当时兰州进步青年活动的一些真实情况。该文就是原兰州商学院马列部教授柴玉英对那一段往事的回忆。———编者 Lanzhou Jing’an Gate No. 12, is the author’s childhood home. As a child, her brother, a secondary school student from Chaizhou Prefecture, Chai Yanzhong and other youths of patriotic progress, used her orchard as a propaganda point for resisting Japan and the nation and later developed into a secret focal point for the CPC underground people. The author at an early age gave “many sentries” to many of his brothers’ secret activities, and thus knew some of the realities of the progressive youth activities in Lanzhou at the time.
