法国的“作家电影”流派是由在20世纪50年代末到60年代初的一群文学家出身的导演群体所构成的。虽然电影从诞生以来就与文学有着不解的渊源,但是一直到“作家电影”流派时期才从文学作品的改编转向专为拍摄电影而创作的剧本。该流派的编导深受萨特存在主义和弗洛伊德学说的影响,在电影作品里着重关注人的精神世界,通过文学化的表达在作品中呈现意识流的非线性剪辑。虽然“作家电影”流派持续的时间不长,但他们的主张及其作品对于电影现代性的开拓具有重要的意义与影响。
The French “writer-movie” genre consists of a group of directors born of a group of writers from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. Although the film has its origin in literature since it was born, it has not been changed from the adaptation of literary works to the script specially for filmmaking until the period of “writer movie”. Influenced by Sartre existentialism and Freud’s theory, the director of this genre focuses on the spiritual world in films and presents a stream of non-linear clips of stream of consciousness in his works through his literary expression. Although “writer movie ” genre lasted for a short time, their opinions and their works are of great significance and influence for the exploration of the modernity of cinema.
