用温挤压加工注塑模型腔是在冷挤压加工的基础上发展起来的一项压力加工新工艺。温挤压加工是将毛坯加热到比热挤压加工低的某个适当温度进行的挤压加工。由于挤压金属被加热,毛坯的变形抗力比冷挤压小,因而比冷挤容易成形。压力机的(或液压机)吨位也可以相应减少。若温度控制适当,则注塑模型腔的寿命比冷挤加工的要高。与冷挤压相比,温挤压加工注塑模型腔具有如下特点。 (1) 适宜于加工高强度和高合金钢材料或因变形量大而难以用冷挤压加工的型腔。 (2) 加工一般材料而压机吨位不足以用冷挤压加工时。
Injection molding cavity with warm extrusion processing cavity is a new process of pressure processing developed on the basis of cold extrusion processing. Warm extrusion is the extrusion process that heats the blank to a lower temperature than the hot extrusion process. As the extruded metal is heated, the deformation resistance of the blank is less than that of the cold extrusion and therefore easier to form than cold extrusion. Press (or hydraulic) tonnage can also be reduced accordingly. If the temperature is controlled properly, the life of the injection mold cavity is higher than the cold extrusion process. Compared with cold extrusion, warm extrusion processing injection mold cavity has the following characteristics. (1) suitable for processing high strength and high alloy steel or due to large deformation and difficult to cold extrusion processing cavity. (2) The general material processing and press tonnage is not enough to use cold extrusion processing.
