上海战役是渡江战役的最后一役。该战役的特点主要表现为 :一是由于上海是中国最大的城市和工商业中心 ,是国民党统治和帝国主义侵华的重要基地 ,是蒋介石决心以重兵坚守的防御重点 ,因而具有独特的艰巨性和复杂性 ;二是要把上海完整地回到人民手中 ,其战役过程中的军事部署必须服从城市接管的大局 ;三是战役行动既要迅速取得胜利 ,又要执行保全上海的战略意图 ;四是上海地下党及其广大人民群众为配合战役 ,开展了卓有成效的斗争 ,作出了杰出的贡献
Shanghai Battle is the last battle of the cross-river battle.
