据悉,日本宇部工业已经宣布该公司的环己酮装置将采用一种新的生产工艺。新的工艺将通过让苯酚选择性地与氢化合生产环己酮,而现有的工艺是基于环己烷氧化。宇部工业表示,公司在宇部生产的环己酮主要用作生产己内酰胺的一种中间体,公司在宇部也拥有己内酰胺装置。宇部工业在去年底表示,受供应过剩的影响,公司己内酰胺业务的市场份额受到挤压,公司当前正积极采取措施恢复己内酰胺业务的赢利能力。宇部工业表
It is reported that Japan’s Ube Industry has announced that the company’s cyclohexanone unit will adopt a new production process. The new process will produce cyclohexanone by selectively combining phenol with hydrogen, whereas existing processes are based on cyclohexane oxidation. Ube Industries said the company’s cyclohexanone produced at Ube is mainly used as an intermediate in the production of caprolactam and the company owns a caprolactam unit at Ube. Ube Industries said at the end of last year that due to the oversupply, the market share of the company’s caprolactam business was squeezed and the company is actively taking measures to restore the profitability of its caprolactam business.
