蒸汽机车摇鞍式导从轮轴瓦赶偏和发热是影响机车走行部分质量的一个因素。目前,虽然已经有了一些处理轴瓦赶偏和发热的经验,但由于轴瓦赶偏和发热涉及的部位较广,如何掌握其变化规律,分析其产生原因,以及采取相应的措施来消除这类故障,仍是蒸汽机车检修工艺中急待探讨的问题。尤其是现在导从轮转向架检修工艺不够完善、走行部分各部件装配工艺尚未全面推行的情况下更为突出。
