传统的课堂教学中教师往往被看作是知识的传授者、课堂的掌控者或指导者。教师在课堂教学过程中所扮演的角色实则多种多样,作为语言教师尤其如此。本文主要探讨了互动式英语课堂教学环境中教师的角色问题。互动式英语教学特征——更强调学生的主动性以及语言的交际功能——使得语言教师成为课堂学习的促进者和参与者、课堂活动的组织者、引导者和推动者。此外,语言教师还应适度地掌控以确保课堂教学的顺利进行。互动式课堂英语教学活动中学生对语言教师角色的态度和想法也在探讨之列。
In traditional classroom teaching, teachers are often regarded as the educator of knowledge, the master or instructor of the classroom. The role of teachers in classroom teaching is actually varied, especially as language teachers. This article mainly discusses the role of teachers in the interactive English classroom teaching environment. The characteristics of interactive English teaching - more emphasis on student initiative and the communicative function of language - make language teachers become facilitators and participants of classroom learning, organizers, guides and promoters of classroom activities. In addition, language teachers should also be moderately controlled to ensure the smooth progress of classroom teaching. Interactive classroom English teaching activities of middle school students on the role of language teachers and ideas are also discussed.
