Objective To study the relationship between renal disease and arterial disease of lower extremity in type 2 diabetic patients. Methods Sixty-eight patients with type 2 diabetes were selected from May 2013 to October 2014 in our hospital. According to the complications, 34 cases were divided into observation group and control group, and the ankle-brachial index Indicators, compared with the lower extremity arterial disease, study the causes of lower extremity arterial disease. Results The incidence of lower extremity arterial disease in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). There was significant difference in urinary albumin / creatinine ratio, fasting blood glucose, 24h urinary protein and glomerular filtration rate between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion The detection of fibrinogen and 24 h urinary protein in patients with early detection of lower extremity arterial disease in patients with diabetes mellitus plays an important role and should be widely applied.
