In the final phase of e-commerce development - the third phase, vendors will extend the benefits of automation and integration to their customers. Companies not only provide information directly to the customer’s system, they also customize services and data delivery to enable richer interactions across systems. Companies entering the third phase of e-commerce will do business in a planned manner and adopt complex business rules to control pricing and purchasing activities.
