As data communications extend to the gigahertz band, the need for carrier-processing data testing in this frequency range has been proposed accordingly. Systron-Doroner company's 6054A automatic frequency counter to meet this need. The 6054A is not only automatic, covering a range of 0.02 to 18 GHz, but also eliminates the need for range selection. All input signals above 20 MHz are connected with one connector without the need for range switches and without the need to change cables.
