Bionic design of packaging under the concept of sustainable development

  Abstract:Objective The application of modern science and technology in people's daily life can not be separated from the link of design. Under the background of environmental pollution and shortage of resources,how to follow the concept of sustainable development and promote the harmonious coexistence between nature and human beings is a global problem. Method From the concept of sustainable development as a breakthrough point,understand the basic content of bionic design,analyze the application of bionic in packaging design,interpret,summarize and reflect on high-quality cases at home and abroad,and discuss the sustainable development of packaging bionic design on the basis of this. Conclusion Packaging bionic design promotes the development of sustainable design from many angles and promotes the relative balance of people,environment and packaging.

  1 Sustainable development and bionic design
  1.1 sustainable development
  The goal of beautiful China and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind need the promotion of sustainable development. In 1987,entrusted by the United Nations,the World Commission on environment and development headed by Norwegian Prime Minister Mrs. Brundtland submitted a famous report "our common future". The report points out that,on the one hand,the human economy is growing rapidly,on the other hand,the nature has been seriously damaged,and a large part of the economic growth is derived from the raw materials of nature. We need to find a new development path,a path that can support human progress until the distant future - this is the path of sustainable development [1].
  1.2 bionic design
  Bionic design is an interdisciplinary subject formed by the perfect integration of bionics and design. For the concept of bionic design,the most concise meaning is "to imitate and simulate the design of creatures in nature" [2]. Louis corani once said:"nature itself is the most brilliant designer. Design should comply with nature,draw on nature,and integrate it with human intelligence. " Bionic design is the study of nature,follow the principle of learning from nature,and strive to achieve the realm of harmony between man and nature.
  2 Application of bionic design in packaging
  2.1 packaging design of shape bionics
  Form bionics is to imitate the external form of natural organisms. There are many kinds of organisms in nature. As a source of inspiration for designers,it is the most authentic material at present. In packaging design,some are concrete packaging bionic design,in addition,through the observation of the basic form of biology,it is abstract packaging bionic design.   2.1.1 packaging design of concrete bionics
  All kinds of creatures in nature have different forms and functions,and they have gradually formed survival forms that adapt to various natural environments. Concrete form bionics is a more realistic imitation of natural creatures.
  2.1.2 packaging design of bionic abstract form
  Abstract form bionics is relative to concrete form bionics,it pays attention to convey deep meaning through simple image. Abstract objects are always thought-provoking,so is the packaging design of abstract form bionics.
  2.2 packaging design of structural bionics
  Structural bionics refers to the study of different structural levels of natural organisms,and the imitation of materials and structures through bionics. Biological structure can determine the forms and species of various organisms in nature,and it is also an important content of natural selection and continuous evolution,with unique meaning and distinct basic characteristics [3].
  2.3 color design of bionic packaging
  Color bionics is applied to the layout of packaging design again by sampling various colors of natural creatures. The bionic packaging color can better set off the good state of the packaging,and can also combine with the packaging modeling to show the flexibility of packaging bionic design [4].
  2.4 packaging design of texture bionics
  Texture has a great influence on people's vision. The application of texture Bionics in packaging design can not only increase the expressiveness of appearance,but also make it more realistic and attract the attention of consumers. The texture of the object surface can reflect the subtle differences,and the changes of the texture bring people different feelings.
  3 Bionic packaging design conforms to the concept of sustainable development
  Bionic design is a design that imitates the characteristics of natural organisms. It advocates returning to nature and applying bionic thinking to packaging design,which can promote the environmental protection,economy and sustainability of packaging in the future. The raw materials of packaging bionic design are extracted from nature,from the design link to the final recycling link,the pollution and emissions are maintained in the lowest range,such a virtuous cycle can promote sustainable development.
