从主观和客观两方面评价联机检索人员。主观标准包括联机检索人员对工作的热情,语言表达能力,对人的耐心,有自尊心、创造力、勇气,果断,具有逻辑思维和分析方法、记忆力,勤奋,发音及语法的准确性和打字的熟练度,学科知识,条理化思想,进取精神,有知识共享和对联机检索、传统索引的经验等;客观标准包括查全率和查准率,一个提问含有的检索量、检索成本和出错机率等。这些标准已用来研究优秀的联机检索人员是否具有一些共同的特征:对联机系统和数据库的经验、接受能力、创造力及个性和认识类型等。
Evaluate online search staff both subjectively and objectively. Subjective criteria include online searcher's enthusiasm for work, language skills, patience with people, self-esteem, creativity, courage, decisiveness, logical thinking and analytical methods, memory, diligence, pronunciation and grammatical accuracy and typing Proficiency, subject knowledge, systematic thinking, enterprising spirit, sharing of knowledge and experience of on-line search and traditional indexing; objective criteria including recall rate and precision, the retrieval volume, retrieval cost and error probability of a question Wait. These criteria have been used to investigate whether top online search officers share some common characteristics: experience, receptivity, creativity, personality and type of awareness of online systems and databases.
