素有“西海固科技人才摇篮”之称的固原市农业学校创建于1958年，2003年与固原财贸技工学校、固原职中合并。学校现为国家重点中等职业学校、国家重点建设示范专业（点）学校。目前学经有全日制在校生2296名。各类函授自考生3036名，各类在册生达5300余名。
