In March 2013, the United States reported a prominent position in the Wall Street Journal: The Verizon Bridge in New York, the longest suspension bridge in the world, completed in 1964, is regarded as a great accomplishment in the history of American architecture. The 15,000-tonne orthotropic steel deck required to renovate the bridge deck was provided by China Railway Shanqiao Group from China.
