INTRODUCTION Personnel planning is a way of providing a supply and demand of computing staff and a way of anticipating changes in personnel and increasing or decreasing training needs. In the library and information industry, people hold different views on this planning method. Some people think this is time-consuming, laborious, expensive thing. This negative view is very strong among information professionals, while others hold a more positive view.
