IMS(IPMultimedia Subsystem IP多媒体系统)支持2G和3G的移动接入方式。在网络融合的发展趋势下,3GPP、ETSI和ITU-T都在研究基于IMS的网络融合方案,目的是使IMS成为基于SIP会话的通用平台,同时支持固定和移动新技术与新业务等多种接入方式,实现固定网络和移动网络的融合。本文对IMS的技术发展现状及IMS融合技术等问题进行简单探讨。
IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem IP Multimedia System) supports 2G and 3G mobile access methods. Under the trend of network convergence, 3GPP, ETSI and ITU-T are all studying IMS-based network convergence solutions to make IMS a common platform for SIP-based conversations while supporting multiple fixed and mobile new technologies and new services Access, to achieve the integration of fixed networks and mobile networks. This article briefly discusses the status quo of IMS technology development and IMS convergence technologies.
