Recently we got the president of Rotoflow company in Los Angeles, USA. S. Dr. Swearingen presented a book entitled Compressors and Expanders (Selection and Application in Industrial Production). It is one of the United States Chemical Industry Reference Books and Textbook Series. It is compiled collectively by senior technicians from companies such as Exxon, Elliott, and Rotoflow in the United States. It is edited by Swearingen and published in 1982. The emphasis is on how to select and apply compressors and expanders in industrial production. The main chapters are selection principles; Centrifugal, axial-flow turbine compressors, high speed and small flow rate
