肺功能检查有重要的临床意义,可早期检出肺和气道疾病,鉴别呼吸困难的原因,评估疾病的严重程度及胸腹部手术耐受力,评定药物及其它治疗方法的疗效等。然而,肺功能检查存在交叉感染的潜在可能性。近年来,临床医生开始关注肺功能实验室的感染预防与控制,特别是重症急性呼吸综合征(SARS)爆发后,对经呼吸道传播的交叉感染更为重视,呼吸过滤器已逐步成为肺功能实验室减少交叉感染危险性的重要方法之一[1]。
