采伐方式是林业扩大再生产和森林合理经营,永续利用的关键。如何根据各地的自然特点和森林生物学特性确定合理的采伐方式,是当前木材生产中急待解决的问题,特别是我区木材生产比较集中的牙克石林区,自1978年推广“一次采育伐”以来,在生产实践中争论较大。为了在理论上相互切磋,在学术上增进交流,本刊将陆续选登有关采伐更新方式的一些文章,从生产实际出发,采取科学态度,在总结经验的基础上展开讨论,藉以寻求适合我区自然、经济特点的采伐方式,指导林业生产。
